The first G1 Play Set to be released! Ever!
Released in Year 2 (1983-1984) in the US
There was a period of time where the Parlor could be ordered as a Mail Order prize, but Peachy was not included, just Twinkles.
The Pretty Parlor was recolored and renamed in 1987, sold under the name Brush Me Beautiful Boutique, along with Kiss Curl and Snowball the Cat (recolored Twinkles)
Additionally, the Pretty Parlor mold was used as a base for a toy kitchen later on
It was also re-colored for a set in G2
There was a re-release by Basic Fun for MLP's 35th Anniversary
Accessories + Characters
Included Peachy, and her pet Twinkles the Cat
Accessories:
A set of pony name tags, with names for Peachy, Blue Belle, Butterscotch, Cotton Candy, Blossom, Minty, Snuzzle - and later on Lemon Drops as well
A pink heart-shaped brush & pink comb
Two hats, a pink blanket, a yellow hair ribbon, and a green hair ribbon.
A carrier basket to put Twinkles in & a basket strap so that Peachy could carry Twinkle's basket + a saddle & a bridle with reins
It came with two papers, containing instructions on how to use the set, and a story about Peachy and Twinkles (and a talking mirror that kind of scares me)

Opens and closes - can be used as a pony carrying case while closed
Has a handle so you can carry it!
The blue color sometimes discolors to more of a green with age
Media

The Pretty Parlor appears in the G1 MLP Comics. It runs like an actual parlor, and peachy owns it - She does the other ponies hair and makes outfits for them!
The Pretty Parlor sometimes appears in G1 Merchandise and picture books
The Story that is included with the Pretty Parlor reads:
Peachy was adjusting her straw hat in the Pretty Parlor mirror when she saw it was five minutes before the hour. "It´s almost time!" she told her pet kitty Twinkles. As she hooked up her bridle and saddle, Peachy offered Twinkles a ride. "We don´t want to be late for today´s tea party!" Quickly, Twinkles jumped on Peachy's back and they scurried out the door. "Don´t forget the flowers," reminded a mysterious voice. "Who said that?" Twinkles wondered. Looking towards the parlor, they heard the voice again. "I said it. Me, the magical mirror! I didn´t see you take the flowers, Peachy." "Can mirrors really see things?" Peachy asked excitedly. "Oh yes. Mirrors can see people as clearly as people can see mirrors. Hurry now, or you´ll be late." Peachy grabbed the bouquet of flowers as Twinkles waved good-bye to the magical mirror. Peachy could hardly wait to tell her friends at the tea party all about the talking mirror. Afterwards, Peachy invited everyone to freshen up in the Pretty Parlor and talk to the magical mirror!
USA Release: (Standard Release)
Accessories the same as info above
The Year 2 release and later MO release seem to be the same, with the exception of the MO release not including Peachy

UK Release:
In the UK, the set was called the "Grooming Parlour"
The UK had two releases, one with Peachy, and a second one that ran for a shorter period, with Snuzzle taking Peachy's place.
People are unsure when the Snuzzle playset was being distributed/produced. It is not very well documented, and for a while it was more of a rumor than anything
The general belief is that it was sold in 1987, according to MLPTP users
The UK had double sided pony name tags, so had twice the number of names.
The two versions had different name tag sets
It's believed that the Peachy Pretty Parlor was sold in the UK for at least three years
It is also thought that the UK never got any Flat Foot Peachys

There appears are two versions
The two of them have slightly different name tag sets
One has "Pretty Parlor" written on the door, but "Pony Salon" written on the box & instructions. The other has the German name Schönheitssalon
In the "Pony Salon" version Brandy the dog is included instead of Twinkles, though Twinkles is still on the box. The Schönheitssalon is sold with Twinkles

Argentinian Release (Boutique):
In Argentina the set was simply titled "Boutique"
Like most G1 stuff sold in Argentina, this play set was manufactured by Top Toys, made in Argentina
Argentina had a blue version, and a pink version of the Pretty Parlor, though the box for both featured the blue version. The pink version had at least 3 difference releases, each with slightly different accessories
The Argentinian name tag set had the same ponies as the original US set, but with their Argentinian names
The Argentina set included Twinkles, but did not come with a pony
There are variations on Twinkles' appearance between releases in Argentina

The set is titled "La Tiendecita", but the parlor itself says "Boutique"
This set included Twinkles, but not Peachy (or any other pony)
It appears that this set had 3 different releases in Peru, each with slightly different accessories
The box says that there are 13 name tags included, but photos only seem to have been taken of 8. They are:
Pica Pica (Confetti), Parasol (name unchanged), Cerecita (Cherries Jubilee), Algodoncito (??), Heladito (??), Manzanita (Applejack), Chupetín (Tootsie), and Rayito (Firefly)
Image sources:
Brazilian Release: (Pônei Palace)
There are two versions that were sold in Brazil - one is a more striking, green-toned blue than the original - The is just the regular blue
It was made in Brazil by Estrella
The set was sold with Twinkles + a Brazilian Nirvana Peachy
Twinkles has orange stripes instead of black stripes
It appears the Pretty Parlor was released in Brazil in 1986, but this isn't a confident claim
Image sources:
Mexican Release: (Salón de Belleza)
The version of Twinkles the cat sold in Mexico has a unique mold. This mold is not featured on the box, though - A picture of the original Twinkles design is used.
