OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • This play set was the one and only play set released in Year 10 (late 1991-early 1992)

  • This set was a Euro exclusive, with no US release

    • It is confirmed to have been sold in the UK, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and France

Other Info

  • This set uses the base model for the Pretty Parlor Play Set, but with quite a few differences:

    • A different color pallete

    • A floor that is just one flat base, not a little stage

    • Cupboards on the wall of one side, and a sink with faucets on the other

    • A little pull-out counter that extends from the sink

    • A little oven in the middle

    • A different front and back door - The full, solid door is just plain white, serving as the back of the building. Instead of a fence door on the other side, there is a new, yellow door

    • Exterior windows with flower beds and awning

    • Additional decals, including curtains and shelves

  • The appearance of Cherry Sweet on the front of the box implies this set was meant to be associated with the Cookery Ponies, which were also Euro exclusives

How the Additional Elements of the set were Packaged -- Source: My Little Wiki

  • While Cherry Sweet is featured on the box, the set did not actually include a pony (with the exception of for the French release)

  • All the fancy extra features came packaged in little plastic baggies and had to be added on. These same baggies includes the non-attachable accessories. Image on the right

  • Accessories List:

    • Oven + oven tray (attachable)

    • Sink unit & faucets (attachable)

    • Breakfast bar (attachable)

    • 4 cakes & a pie

    • A rolling pin, mixing spoon, pair of tongs, rolling pastry cutter, a mixing bowl, a saucepan & lid, a baking tray, and a pastry board

    • 4 cups, 4 plates, and 5 cookie cutters

  • Discolors with age to become a tan/cream sort of color

UK Version (Kitchen)

  • The set is literally just called "Kitchen", nothing fancy. Not even "Pony Kitchen"

France (La Cuisine)

  • Unlike other countries, France sold the set with ponies included - Two ponies, neither of which were featured on the box: Baby Nightcap and Sleep Tight (both originally from the Slumber Party Gift Pack in Year 5)

Spanish Release (Pastelería)

  • Made in Spain

Dutch Release (Cuisine Keuken or Cuisine/Keuken)

  • Has the German and French names for MLP

  • Called Cuisine Keuken on the front and Cuisine/Keuken on the side

    • This is probably because the French version was called La Cuisine and the German version was called Pony-Küche, making this a mixture of both

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
