OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • The same exact design was used for both an eraser and a magnet

  • Both the erasers and the magnets are dated 1983. It's unclear which came out first. My bet is on the erasers, because G1 made more erasers than magnets in general, and while this series of erasers has a number of ponies included, there only seems to be four ponies made for the magnets.

Eraser

  • Flat eraser - Not one of the figurine erasers

    • The flat erasers were released before the figurine erasers

  • Was sold in a two-pack with an eraser featuring Glory

    • She and Glory have the same pose, even though some of the other erasers from the eraser packs sold in this series have different poses

  • According to Sebby's Gallery, there were also individually packaged erasers reported from Sweden, said to be prizes at a kid's dentist - Medley, Blossom, Glory, and Sunbeam were included in this bunch, but it's unclear if other erasers from this series were as well

Magnet

  • Sold in a four-pack with Firefly, Glory, and Twilight. All the designs in the pack were also sold as erasers

  • Magnet is fully magnetic on the back, instead of just having a round magnet attached like the G1 figurine magnets
