    • One of the first unicorns released - She, Moondancer, Sunbeam, and Twilight were the first G1 unicorns, released in the original Unicorn set in early 1984

    • She had a second release, wherein she was re-released alongside the second wave of Unicorns, which consisted of Powder, Skyflier, and Sparkler

    • (Moondancer also was included in this second release)

  • She actually had a UK release, unlike the other Year Two Unicorns

Media:

  • Glory appears in the first ever MLP TV Special Rescue at Midnight Castle

  • She was featured in quite a few MLP picture books

  • While G4 Rarity's main inspiration was Sparkler, Glory also influenced her design

Personality: Glory's main thing seems to be being a unicorn, which is fair enough, because she was one of the first unicorns. She doesn't do much in the MLP TV Special, but what she does do is roller-skate off a cliff, which is pretty cool, so she's still memorable.

Her US backcard writes: Glory was looking for a special friend, a friend who believes in magic. One day she came upon a grand castle and saw a beautiful young girl sitting by the pond. Glory made an unusual sound. The girl turned to look at Glory, then ran toward her, arms outstretched in greeting. "I dream about you every night. Are you really here? Oh, please, please be here!" she exclaimed. Stars shot across the sky as Glory nestled her head in the young girl's shoulder. Glory knew that she had found her special friend - her friend who truly believes in magic!

Her UK backcard writes: Glory is the most elegant of all the earth-bound creatures. She moves from place to place with a magical stride, almost as though she had wings. Her magic takes her from kingdom to kingdom in search of a young girl who believes in magic...and in unicorns!
