A Porcelain Figurine - G1 MLP released a number of porcelain figures, separate from their mainline toys.
This sculpture seemingly depicts Glory and Moondancer being married - And that's not just me saying that... Every listing for it describes it as a "Wedding", and it sure does look like one... With Glory's bowtie and Moondancer's veil... But... I'd just like to point out that Glory and Moondancer are both girls. And there's nothing wrong with this of course - Good for them! I'm just confused because I was under the impression that in the 80s companies weren't at the point of being willing to sell merchandise depicting gay characters. So the question is - What are we supposed to assume? Maybe this is supposed to be a genderswapped "boy" Glory - They did make genderswapped versions of some of the ponies, like Sugarberry... But the "boy" ponies are all taller with fluffy hooves, and Glory and Moondancer are definitely the same height here.... So, is this butch lesbian Glory x femme moondancer official merchendice? All signs point to yes. Upon discovering this I have promptly moved the Glory and Moondancer in my collection to stand next to each other, and apologized to them, telling them I did not know they were married and I will not seperate them again. Gay rights!
Edit: The underside of the figure titles it "Wedding Prance", further confirming theories of pony marriage equality! They figured it out before humans did.
