OTHER COMMENTS/INFORMATION:
One of two figures released by the Hamilton Collection; The other is of Firefly
Came with a certificate of authenticity
Shipped in boxes in a plastic bag and with Styrofoam
Were mail order - not through the usual mail order program that was advertised on pamphlets that came with the toys + toy magazines, but in regular Newspaper ads. Definitely marketed towards older collectors
Limited edition collectors item - 95 Casting days
Sometimes referred to as porcelain because that's what most MLP G1 sculptures were made of, but they are actually resin
Much smaller than a regular pony brushable
This figure got a negative reaction from collectors/fans after release - The ad they put out showed, quote "A beautiful Glory" But "The first figurine looked nothing like the ad". Many collectors returned them.
Supposedly, the quality of the seams was poor, rough, and uneven. Some people also complained of paint flaws.
[More info on the negative reception is on the My Little Pony Trading Post]
There were supposed to be more releases, but they never happened - Collectors assume it was because of this poor reception. Releases for Medley and Sunlight were announced but never happened. It's said that 12 total were planned, but unclear who the remaining ponies were going to be.
I actually think she looks nice and would love to have her in my collection
