In 2018, for the 35th Anniversary of MLP, Hasbro licensed out the rights to G1 MLP to manufacturer Basic Fun, who made re-releases of several G1 brushables.
In 2019, Basic Fun put out a few more G1 brushable re-releases - Including the Classic Earth Ponies Series, which consisted of Applejack, Bowtie, Bubbles, and Seashell - Each packaged individually.
She comes with a pink bow, and a pink hair brush - the same as her original release.
- Unlike with the original ponies, the bow is sewn on - attached to the pony herself
To tell if a pony is a genuine G1, or a Retro re-release, you can look at the date on their hooves. A notable difference between the two will also be the texture of the plastic - vintage G1's are made of a more rubbery-feeling plastic, whereas the Retro re-releases are made of a more solid, hard plastic.
- For seashell she appears to be a darker, cooler shade of purple than her original counterpart
