  • Her usual price seems to be more than the average MLP G1 Brushable that doesn't have a special trait & isn't super rare. I think people just like her a lot. Which is fair, because she's adorable

OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

Release Info

  • In the US she was sold as part of the second wave Earth Pony set in Year 3 (1994-1985) along with Lickety Split, Posey, and Tootsie + previous-wave re-releases of Bow Tie and Applejack

  • In the UK she was sold as part of the Groom & Style Set, which included Lickety Split, Posey, Tootsie, and a UK-Exclusive Bow Tie Nirvana & Applejack Nirvana

    • She was released in the UK in 1986 instead of 1985

  • She had a So-Soft version, released in Year 4 (1985-1986)

  • She had a re-release by Basic Fun

Other

  • The UK version of Cherries Jubilee has darker symbols, lighter hair and no factory curls

    • This is because the Groom and Style ponies that also had So Soft editions, used the deflocked SS designs (NSS) in the UK, whether or not they had a US unflocked version. The Groom and Style set functioned not just as a partner to the Earth Pony set, but as an alternative to the So Soft set.

    • (So Soft ponies have darker cutie marks so they can be seen through the flocking)

  • In the US she came with a green brush and green ribbon, in the UK she came with a yellow brush and green ribbon

Her US Backcard reads: It was the day of the big Pony Parade and Cherries Jubilee was tying the last cherry blossoms to her float. "I hope this string holds the blossoms in place," she thought to herself. She had worked very hard picking hundreds of cherry blossoms and stringing them together to form a beautiful rainbow. "Here comes Cherries' float," Tootsie shouted from the stands. As the float passed before the judges, the string suddenly broke. A shower of colorful petals fell all over Ponyland. It was such a magnificent sight that Majesty officially named it The Cherry Blossom Parade and crowned Cherries Jubilee the queen of the parade.

Her UK Backcard reads: Cherries Jubilee is always ready for a carnival for she has hundreds of cherry blossoms strung together to make beautiful rainbow garlands. In the Cherry Blossom parade her float is always the prettiest.

Her UK Fact File entry reads: Big, red juicy cherries are the favourite snack of Cherries Jubilee. She carefully tends to the cherry trees in the orchard and enjoys making beautiful decorations form the pretty pink cherry blossom petals. On the Cherry Blossom parade her float is always the prettiest.
