CHARACTER(S): Lickety Split

YEAR OF PRODUCTION: 1985 (Hoof says 1984)

PLACE OF PRODUCTION: Hong Kong

MANUFACTURING COMPANY: Hasbro

TYPICAL PRICE ONLINE: $20 - $30 USD

Her usual price more than the average MLP G1 Brushable that doesn't have a special trait & isn't super rare. I think people just like her a lot. Which is fair, because she's adorable

OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • In the US she was sold as a single in an earth pony themed set that also included Cherries Jubilee, Posey, and Tootsie

  • In the UK she was sold as part of the Groom & Style Set, which included Cherries Jubilee, Posey, Tootsie, and a UK-Exclusive Bow Tie Nirvana & Applejack Nirvana

  • She came with a pinkish-purple brush and a white ribbon

  • She had a So-Soft version and a full re-release by Basic Fun

  • She has a lot of Nirvanas

  • She has a BBE Baby version, a NBBE Baby, and a First Tooth Baby

  • Seems to be a lot of variety in how close her hair color is to her fur color? I'm curious if people are listing Nirvanas as classics or if she just has variation... Or if it's an issue of fading. Sometimes it's more of a peachy color though, and I don't know if that can be explained by fading...

  • Her French name is Sorbet :)

In My Collection!

Added to my collection April 25th 2025

I got her from Etsy for $15.66 from the seller The Pink Room. She had some stains I couldn't get out, and there was glue in her neck plug that was still sticky, but overall she is very nice, especially for the slightly-cheaper-than-usual price! Lickety Split is such a pretty pony, and I'm happy to have her in my collection! :)

I gave her a bow, I think it suits her well!
