  • Baby Tic Tac Toe was a First Tooth Baby Pony released in Year 5 (1986-1987)

    • First Tooth Baby Ponies are Baby Ponies that are a bit smaller than regular Baby Ponies, with slightly rounder features and one tooth sticking from their mouths

    • They were first released in a set of 6 ponies in Year 5 (including Baby Tic Tac Toe)

    • They didn't have another full set release, but other First Tooth Baby Ponies were sold, such as the Twice As Fancy Baby Ponies, which were Mail Order only ponies - baby versions of the Twice as Fancy Ponies - that used the First Tooth molds

  • She is the baby version of the Year 4 Twinkle-Eyed Pony Tic Tac Toe

    • Unlike her "mom" (or... older self?), Baby Tic Tac Toe does not have Twinkle Eyes

  • Her accessories were a toothbrush, toothpaste, a diaper, a rainbow-colored stack toy, a pillow, a felt tooth, a pink comb, and a white ribbon

Personality: Her US backcard writes: The ponies were having a party for all the baby ponies with their first teeth. "Where is Baby Tic-Tac-Toe?" wondered her Mother, while the others put on party hats and blew party horns. "Baby Tic-Tac-Toe is missing the fun," frowned the ponies as the baby ponies ate cupcakes decorated with sparkling icing. Then the baby ponies played a game of noughts and crosses, on a big board. "She's missing her favourite game," sighed her Mother. Just then Baby Tic-Tac-Toe made a surprise entrance, and rushed to join in with her friends to play her favourite game.


Her French backcard writes: Les mamans poneys sont en train d’organiser une petite fête pour tous les bébés poneys venant d’avoir leur première dent. “Mais où est Tic Tac Toc?” se demande sa maman pendant que les autres poneys commencent à s’amuser et à manger tous les bons gateaux. “Il ne va plus rien lui rester” soupier la maman poney. Les bébés poneys organisent un jeu de marelle, jeu favori de Tic Tac Toc qui n’est toujours pas arrivé. “Il va manquer son jeu favori,” s’imquiète sa maman. Mais au meme moment, Tic Tac Toc fait son entrée et rejoint vite ses petits amis pour participer à leur jeu.

Dutch Fan Club Release

  • In Belgium, one of the MLP Fan Club rewards in 1988 was Baby Tic Tac Toe packaged on a board rather than in a box, with one accessory - a toothbrush

    • I doubt she was re-manufactured for this - probably just extra stock

    • Other First Tooth Ponies were sold in this style - First Tooth Baby Lickety Split, Baby North Star, Baby Bouncy - possibly more.
