OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • Officially titled "Dream Castle Fantasy Action Game"

  • This board game was marketed on the gimmick of having a 3D set. Cardboard pieces you could attach to each other were included, which could be used to make a 3D set for the game - These were called 3D Stand-Up Games, at least by Warren

    • Warren also made another MLP 3D Stand-Up Game, called Pony Round-Up

  • There was another Dream Castle themed board game, made by Milton Bradley, called "My Little Pony: Dream Castle Game". This one was just a regular board game, without the 3D board gimmick

  • The G3 Board Game "Race Through Ponyville To Celebration Castle" is sometimes also called "My Little Pony: Dream Castle", though I'm unsure where this comes from

  • 2-6 player game, for ages 5-10

  • Contained:

    • A deck of 24 playing cards

    • 6 pony cards used as stand-up game pieces when attached to plastic stands

    • Instruction manual

    • The castle + board + 5 flags. Castle needs to be assembled

  • The game piece cards are for Firefly, Windy, Sunbeam, Glory, Medley, and Skydancer. The castle features Majesty, Spike, and Sunbeam in the windows

    • The box has Firefly, Glory, and Skydancer on the front; Windy on the back

    • Majesty and Spike were sold with the Dream Castle Play Set

  • Sold at Target, possibly elsewhere as well

  • Original retail price of $6.99

French(?) variation

  • This variation uses the name "Ma Petite Pouliche", which seems to be French, but traditionally the French name for MLP is "Mon Petit Poney", so it may be a version sold to a French-speaking country outside of France.

  • The game features both French and English translations, making me think it might be Canadian, since that is common there

Comments

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission (and some are from users who are inactive or not possible to contact -- i.e., from sites like Worthpoint) - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
