OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • Romantic Merry is a well-known Fakie brand, but I've struggled to find documentation of their G4 sets.

  • This one I only found because I saw a picture on Pinterest, and searching for more info got me almost nothing

  • This is a very fun fakie, though! It's a background pony fakie - deliberately imitating a FiM background pony! Usually you only see that for the background ponies that got a lot of merchandise, like Lyra and Vinyl, but here we have Roseluck!

  • Roseluck, despite being semi-popular as far as background ponies go, only ever got one brushable release - as part of the Friendship Blossom collection, which was part of the Ponymania series.

  • The Friendship Blossom collection gives the ponies thick-lined stalized decals of flowers along their bodies, and features Princess Cadence along with five additional ponies, all with flower cutie marks. All of these ponies are FiM background ponies.

  • This fakie does not appear to be the work of someone who wishes to market to Roseluck fans who are disappointed in her lack of brushable releases - Instead it is a direct imitation of the one release she did have - It directly imitates all the Ponymania flower details, and the title on the box even says "Horse Mania"!

  • Based on the images, she looks be bigger than the standard 3" G4 Brushable, but I have no way to confirm this

  • The only website I could find selling her (that would load) says she has "built in battery", implying she is electronic - Which also makes me think she may be bigger than 3", because G4 tends to make their electronic toys larger than the standard size. It also says the words "musical" in there somewhere, so maybe she plays music? It is poorly translated. It also says she has "Fleshy Body Material", but this is perhaps a mistake of Google Translate.

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
