OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:
HQG1C stands for “High Quality G1 Customs”. These ponies aren’t actually customs though - They’re factory-made, re-using molds from the original My Little Pony G1 toys, but with new designs and uncopyrighted names.
HQG1C are only honorary Fakies. In reality, they are more of a fanmade project. But because they are made on such a big scale – In factories in decently large numbers – and are unlicensed, they land themselves in this category anyway.
Most HQG1Cs are given “limited edition” releases, with a few hundred figures made per toy. They are sold on the website The Pony Business, and in-person at conventions and toy fairs. The MLPTP community is involved in the creation and running of HQG1C.
Rhyme is from the Artistry Girls set - a set of wingless ponies using the Flutter Pony molds.
The Artistry Girls Ponies are meant to fit an 80s theme. Their geometric (AKA Memphis Design) cutie marks (resemblant of the Rockin’ Beat Ponies from Year 9) evoke an 80s look, along with their poofy hair-styles, mini-strip of hair for the bands, and large curls.
There are six Artistry Girls Ponies total (in the same vein as the original G1 set numbers). The other five ponies in the set are named Whirl, Prism, Rhythm, Pizzaz, and Flow.
