About Italian Ponies

  • Ponies sold in Italy were produced in Italy only until 1987, when they started just shipping over the standard releases sold in the US, made in Hong Kong & China

    • The Italian-made ponies were produced/distributed by DAG, under silence from Hasbro.

    • All Italian ponies were made in the Collector's pose. Many have airbrushed eyes unique to ponies produced by DAG

    • There is a lot of variation in the foot stamps of Italian ponies - They all have 'ITALY' written under at least one hoof, but may or may not include 'Pat Pend' as is typical of Hong Kong & China made ponies, and their may be stamps on two feet or four.

  • A lot of other European countries actually often got ponies imported from Italy, rather than Hong Kong. This is why Italian ponies are considered some of the easiest-to-find Nirvanas.


About Italian Peachy

  • There are four variants of Italian Peachy

    • One with a darker-colored cutie mark and two hooves stamped (Var 1)

    • One with a lighter-colored cutie mark and four hooves stamped (Var 2)

    • One with airbrushed eyes (& lighter-colored cutie mark) (Var 3)

    • One with brown fur and white hair, in a similar vein to Jenny (Var 4)

  • The first three variants have her standard color scheme, although the hair color seems to be a bit lighter

  • Two hooves stamped

  • Darker-colored, more red-toned cutie mark

  • Typical price, taken from eBay listings (including sold ones)

    • Price in Europe = EUR 18 to EUR 40

    • Price in USA = $15 to $30 USD

    • Price increases with inclusion of accessories (& Twinkles)

  • Can have two hooves or all hooves stamped

  • Lighter-colored cutie mark

  • Appears to have come with the Pretty Parlor, because online listings show her with Pretty Parlor accessories + Twinkles

  • Typical price, taken from eBay listings (including sold ones)

    • Price in Europe = EUR 15 to EUR 40

    • Price in USA = $15 to $30 USD

    • Price increases with inclusion of accessories (& Twinkles)
