I've seen brushables in nicer condition priced in the $30 - $45 range
Definitely wouldn't call her hard to find... but maybe "hard to find in good condition"? She already has a kind of gray-toned shade of pink for her fur, and I frequently see toys of her that look to have gray bruising of some sort. I think maybe the paint they used for her is easily damaged? That's just speculation, though. My own Heart Throb has some of this gray bruising herself
Cutie mark has glitter on it - Often brushables of her have the glitter rubbed off

Released in Year 3 (1984-1985) as part of the Pegasus Set
She came with a yellowish-green comb and a pale blue ribbon

Personality: Heart Throb is lovesick and romance-obsessed. She's sort of fancy and girly, and she likes wearing clothes, which most of the ponies don't seem to bother with. It appears she is also an artist and creative-type - She's established to make clothes, write poems, and make a whole lot of Valentines Day cards.
Her US Backcard writes: Heart Throb was finishing the lace booties for the Baby Ponies when she started designing the beautiful valentine card. "I'll give it to my favorite friend in pony land," she said to herself. Heart Throb gathered some leftover lace from the booties, flowers from Posey's garden and heart-shaped pebbles she found near the waterfall. She placed a poem she had written directly in the center of a heart-shaped lace doily. Pasting it all together, Heart Throb signed the valentine and proudly presented it to the love birds that live under the waterfall.
Her UK Backcard writes: Every day is Valentine's Day to Heart Throb! With her friends, the Lovebirds, Heart Throb makes heart shaped presents for everyone and spreads joyous messages of love and happiness to all who live on the far side of the rainbow.

I love Heart Throb dearly, she has such a cute design! And I remember liking her from the TV show when younger! She went on my wishlist right away when I started collecting! I got her for only $7.50 ($14.30 with shipping) on Mercari from Merimentcrafting who was a really kind seller who I'd gladly buy from again!
Here she is modeling outside with a kandi bracelet (necklace for her), and the ribbon I gave her!
