  • I see this guy around a lot, and clearly she's a fakie of the Merry Go Round G1 line

  • Turns out there's more - lots of ponies in this series, just for some reason the green one (and to a lesser extent the baby green one) is the one I always see

  • Apparently these ponies were called circus ponies - although a lot of listings call them carousel ponies - and they had an initial release, and then a series of re-releases.

  • The re-releases have glass eyes, while the originals have painted eyes

  • They were sometimes sold in single packs, sometimes with a baby

  • There's a lot of different variations of designs for these guys - You can see more on Fakie Spaceman and Vettens Collection
