OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • From the 1984 McDonald's MLP Happy Meals, which used the G1 Charm ("Mommy Charm") design, which was repurposed from Hasbro's Charmkins line and used multiple times in G1 MLP merchandise.

    • The Happy Meals had an additional piece of plastic, and were meant to be used as bookmarks. They're 3 inches tall including the added plastic.

    • They were the only G1 Happy Meals.

  • Everyone calls them bookmarks online but they don't look like they'd make good book marks, and if you look at the MIB images, the instructions seem to say that these are actually meant to be pocket clips!

  • They came in plastic bags with papers, which explained how to use a rewards system that meant earning points you could trade in for a brushable from the Birth Flower Line

  • The set also included Snuzzle, Blue Bell, Butterscotch, Blossom, and Minty

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
