I see cheaper listings pop up pretty often but they always sell insanely quickly. Like every time it's within a day, and every time I miss the chance.
OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:
This is one of two classic style Trixie brushables, the other one being from the Cutie Mark Magic line, and unique enough to get her own post
This brushable has a more standard appearance - It is her regular brushable
This brushable had two releases
Her first release was in 2012 as part of the Pony Wedding Series, in the Wedding Single Packs, which were themed around the FiM 2-parter "A Canterlot Wedding" - This is despite Trixie not appearing in those episodes
There were two variants - Both came with a pink brush, a wrapped present accessory, and a wedding invitation - But one also included a DvD of the episode "Lesson Zero" - No, not "Canterlot Wedding", and not even Trixie's debut episode "Show Stoppers"
Her second release was as part of a Toys R Us Exclusive Collectors Set - the Favorites Collection, in a set which also included Nightmare Moon, Flower Wishes (Daisy), Lemony Gem, Rainbow Dash, DJ Pon 3 (Vinyl Scratch), and Pinkie Pie. It originally sold for $39.99
This toyset was marketed towards adult collectors, evident in the highlighting of fan favorite characters / background ponies + The two most popular mane 6 members
Part of why this set is desirable is because Nightmare Moon, Trixie, Vinyl Scratch, and Daisy were not featured in a lot of merchandise, especially in the mane series
The earlier brushable appears to have a bit more green-toned color?
The Favorites Collection brushable has glitter over her cutie mark, the other does not
As a child I wanted a Trixie brushable soooo bad

In My Collection!
Trixie has been on my wishlist for a very, very long time - Since I was a child, in fact! I always wanted a brushable of her as a kid, and never found one. So of course when I started collecting she was top of the wishlist! Unfortunately, she's usually in the 30-50$ range... At least for available brushables! I felt like every time I checked Mercari's recent listings there'd be a 10-20$ Trixie brushable listed that I just missed by an hour!
I finally found her when sitting on the stoop with my laptop and chatting with my 14 year old sister while she drew on her iPad and I scrolled through Mercari. I was shocked to see a Trixie who was $9... My sister thought she was a scam. But I bought her... and she wasn't! In fact, she was wonderful quality. There were times when I considered buying cheaper listings of Trixie that had scraggly, cut hair, but I really wanted one with decent hair quality, so I never did it. Thank goodness - This Trixie has the best-feeling hair of any G4 pony I own! It's soft and springy and wonderful to brush. She has stray hairs but I'm too nervous to try and straighten or boil them out, because I'd never want to sacrifice that perfect hair quality...
her in my collection :) Her cutie mark is non-sparkly which means she's from the single packs!
