  • Starshine is a Rainbow Pony released in Year Two (1983-1984)

    • This means she's from the first wave of Rainbow Ponies

  • Rainbow Ponies' defining features are their rainbow hair and glittery cutie marks

  • She came with a purple brush, purple comb, and blue ribbon

  • Fur is meant to be white, but she often gets discolored to a more yellow or brown tone

  • Has a glitter cutie mark, and it's one of the one's where it's noticeable when the glitter rubs off. "Quality" of toy is therefore more affected by state of cutie mark

  • Has a lot of Nirvanas

  • Had a full re-release for MLP's 25th and 35th anniversary

  • Starshine is featured very, very heavily in G1 Retro merchandise
