Given a re-release for MLP's 25th anniversary in 2008 as part of the 3-pack set titled Original 1984 Collection, which also included re-releases for Moonstone and Parasol
Given a second re-release in 2018 for MLP's 35th anniversary as part of Basic Fun's re-release of the Rainbow Ponies Set, along with Moonstone and Parasol again, as well as Skydancer, Starshine, and Sunlight. The latter 3 were also given a re-release together for the 25th Anniversary in a 3-pack
The Rainbow Ponies set had a release with 5 out of the 6 together (Sunlight was excluded), as well as individual releases in single packs for each pony in the set
She came with a purple bow and a purple brush. In her original release she had the same purple brush, but had a blue bow.
Unlike with the original ponies, the bow is sewn on - attached to the pony herself
The 35th Anniversary Rainbow Pony re-releases are all scented, and as a result some have discoloration issues
To tell if a pony is a genuine G1, or a Retro re-release, you can look at the date on their hooves. A notable difference between the two will also be the texture of the plastic - vintage G1's are made of a more rubbery-feeling plastic, whereas the Retro re-releases are made of a more solid, hard plastic.
