OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • Regentropfen was only ever released in Germany, and Austria - Making her a "full Nirvana pony", without a Standard US release!

  • The series title on her box is Regenbogen-Ponys, which translates to Rainbow Ponies - It is the German equivalent to the Standard Release G1 Rainbow Ponies

    • On the box, Moonstone and a pony who appears to be the German version of Starshine (but looks slightly off from her actual design) are featured

    • The Regenbogen-Ponys included the German-made equivalents of three of the Year 2 Rainbow Ponies (Moonstone, Starshine, and Skydancer), along with the German version of Flutterbye, from the Year 3 Rainbow Ponies, and Regentropfen, along with another German-exclusive pony named Nachtlicht.

    • This German Rainbow Pony set was released in Year 6 (1987-1988)

  • She has two variants - The typical one, with a larger cutie mark/symbol, and the slightly less common one, with a smaller cutie mark, often placed a bit awkwardly on the pony

    • This difference may or may not be regional. It is possible the smaller cutie mark version was sold in Austria, and the larger one in Germany

  • She came with a blue brush, blue comb, and yellow ribbon

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
