Red Roses is from the Perfume Puff Pony Line
- Perfume Puff Ponies had hair where the nylon was given a special plastic treatment that gives it a poofy, fluffy appearance, resembling tight hair coils, like in an Afro.
  This, along with the hair being scented, was the gimmick of the Perfume Puff Pony line.
- These are the only G1 ponies who have this type of hair texture/nylon treatment

Red Roses accessories include a barrette, a comb, and a yellowish-white ribbon
She also came with "pony eye shadow", so you could do her makeup
- (Read that in the Twilight Sparkle voice, like when she was talking about her doll and said "She even comes with own notepad and quill, so you can pretend she's doing her homework")

US Backcard: One day, Red Roses found a perfume bottle on her doorstep with a note attached that read "Magical Rose Perfume." "Why is it magic?" she wondered, spraying the fragrant perfume behind her ears. As she ran to show her friends the mysterious bottle, she stumbled and spilled a few drops of perfume on the floor.
