OTHER INFO:

  • First released in 2003 (G3 Year 1) with Baby Sunsparkle - The first G3 baby pony

    • Released again in 2004, as a Toys R US exclusive with an additional bonus pony - Baby Romperooni, who had appeared as a bonus pony before this but previously wasn't given a name

    • Had a 2006 release in Europe under the name "Rainbow Princess Castle". It is otherwise the same, but has a different color pallete and different accessories, themed around the 2006 "Crystal Princess" theme

  • Multiple mechanical features

    • Music plays when a pony's magnetic hoof touches the pink heart on the castle floor

    • There's a kitchen counter accessory that includes a stove top which opens up to reveal a sink when the pony steps on the magnetic button

    • There is a disk that can be attached to the top of the stairs which functions as a dance floor - the ponies stand on it using the magnet, and it can then be manually spun, making the pony "dance"

    • Has a little elevator seat that goes up and down inside one of the castle turrets, which the ponies can ride in

  • The staircase, turrets, crown turret top, curtains, arches, and balconies are removable. Also maybe the door, because I was always taking it out and putting it back in as a kid, but that might not have been an intended feature...

  • Comes with a giant hot air balloon, and a plastic moat + staircase that can be attached to the front of the castle. The door can rest on the stairs of the moat, creating a bridge

  • Full list of accessories can be seen on MLW

  • Requires batteries for the music feature to work - Needs 3 "AA" Batteries

  • Was a 2003 Toy Awards Winner, according to Hasbro

  • The Celebration Castle appears in G3 animated media

In My Collection!

... Sorta. It's in my basement. I had it as a kid. My Mom got it second hand (many pieces missing, and no baby ponies included) at Once Upon A Child. It's still around, but I'm not interested in collecting play sets, so it just kind of exists...

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
