  • This set could also be bought with the VHS for A Charming Birthday

2003 - Soon after she was sold again in essentially the same set, just with another pony's box attached - one of the promotional 2-packs.

  • She was considered the main pony, and her bonus pony would be either Autumn Skye, Butterscotch, or Star Swirl

  • She, as the main pony, came with her brush and charm, but the bonus pony did not.

  • Her brush is a paler orange here than in her other releases

2003 - Once again in 2003, she was sold again, this time as part of a 4-pack at Costco, consisting of her along with other Glitter Ponies - Kimono, Minty, and Pinkie Pie

  • Charms & brushes for all the ponies were included

2003 - She was sold as a bonus pony with the Cotton Candy Cafe Value Pack

  • Meadowbrooke and Star Swirl were also included as bonus ponies here, and Cotton Candy was the main pony as would be expected

Note: at the end of 2003 (in the US), Sparkleworks 2 was first released

2004 - She was released again as part of the MLP/Disney collab, dressed as Disney Princess Aurora. This set was sold only at Disneyworld.

Other Info

  • There does not seem to be notable differences/variants between her releases

  • The pose she is in is nicknamed the "Sparkleworks Pose" by fans because she was the first pony to use the pose

  • All Sparkleworks releases sold in this pose have tinsel in their hair

  • The different pony hair colors often are prone to different issues - The pink plastic used for Sparkleworks' hair is prone to hair breakage and disintegration.

    • Her hair is also thought to be made largely of polypropylene as opposed to nylon
