There are two versions - The regular one, which is smaller and has a brushable tail, and the Kinder Maxi figure, which is larger and has a molded tail
Both figures were released in 2015, though the Maxi figure was released later in the year (August vs September)
The regular version, which I will nickname "Kinder Mini" pairs with a figure of Pinkie Pie from Equestria Girls.
The figures come with large pamphlets and removable plastic stands

Were first sold in Germany
Confirmed to also have been sold in Poland, Austria and Singapore
Were released in the UK kind of late
Got a re-release in Canada and Mexico in 2021, though the figures were slightly larger than the originals, they used the same mold and had the brushable tails & EQG counterparts, meaning I count them as a variant on the OG set. It appears the 2021 figures include different pamphlets from the originals. They are copyrighted as 2020 despite not being spotted in stores until 2021

Maxi Figure:
The stand comes apart into two pieces, and seems to be intended to be an accessory holder. The top piece includes a tiny makeup-style mirror.
The first Maxi figures to be released were Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie. Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle were released later on. Applejack never got a release.
