OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

  • In 2018, for the 35th Anniversary of MLP, Hasbro licensed out the rights to G1 MLP to manufacturer Basic Fun, who made re-releases of several G1 brushables.

  • Gusty's re-issue was released 2 years later, as part of Basic Fun's second Unicorn & Pegasus Set

  • She came with a pink bow and a pink comb, which is accurate to her original set

  • Unlike with the original ponies, the bow is sewn on - attached to the pony herself

  • To tell if a pony is a genuine G1, or a Retro re-release, you can look at the date on their hooves. A notable difference between the two will also be the texture of the plastic - vintage G1's are made of a more rubbery-feeling plastic, whereas the Retro re-releases are made of a more solid, hard plastic.

In My Collection!

I know I got her as a young teen, and I'm pretty sure I found her at Target, but I honestly don't remember any details...

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
