OTHER COMMENTS/INFO:

Release Info

  • From the Glimmer Wings Series

  • This series has ponies with over-the-top, large butterfly-like wings, resemblant of Rarity's wings in the FiM season one episode "Sonic Rainboom".

    • I've seen it claimed that the Glimmer Wings toys were designed before the episode, and that the episode itself was made in order to tie-in with the toys. Not sure there is any real proof of either claim, though.

  • Fluttershy was sold in a single pack, released under the late S2 "Wedding" marketing gimmick

  • There was also a non-Glimmer wings Fluttershy sold in this series as a "bonus pony" for Glimmer Wings Sweet Song (very G3 of them)

Accessories

  • Each pony in this series comes with a little accessory pet - Fluttershy's is a dragonfly.

Features/About

  • The wings move - Unclear how this mechanism works. Presumably its electronic, like the moving wings of the Talking Princess dolls?

  • She has the raised hoof pose, uncommon for Classic G4 Brushables, making her more "special" in regards to collecting

  • The wings are attached to the body with a separate piece of plastic, which admittedly does look a bit garish...

Comments

This website is purely for educational/archival purposes. I do not own the rights to My Little Pony, and most photos on this site are not my own. I provide image sources if the source is still available online, but there are far too many photos for me to ask each person for permission (and some are from users who are inactive or not possible to contact -- i.e., from sites like Worthpoint) - The whole point of the site is collecting as many photos as possible. I try to ask permission on social media or forums that I'm active on, especially if I'm using a lot of photos from one person. If you own one of the photos on this site and do not want it here, message me and I will remove it. This isn't meant to take credit from or upset anyone; It is just for fun and to help record the existence of these toys. If you are made uncomfortable by me using your photos, I will remove them for you.
