OTHER INFO:

  • First released in 2003 with Meadowbrook

    • In 2004 was given a re-release which additionally included Bee Bop, Sunset Sweety, and Gem Blossom as bonus ponies. This was the Bloomin Blossoms Shop "Value Pack"

  • Called "Beautiful Blooms Shop" in some countries

  • Several mechanical features within accessories

    • Popcorn in popcorn machine "pops" when cart is pushed

    • Checkout counter has a hoof-magnet activated button that opens the register

    • Register conveyer belt moves forward when the knob on the side is turned

    • Flower pot accessories have magnetic features - When the pony puts her hoof on the pot, it makes the flower rise up in the pot, creating the illusion of growth

  • It is meant to be a grocery store and flower shop, which is why there is a greenhouse. A lot of the accessories are flower shop themed, including things like watering cans, flowers, and flower pots, but there are also things like a fruit stand, cereal boxes, milk cartons, and drink cans.

    • Backcard: No one in PONYVILLE loves flowers more then MEADOWBROOK! She grows all kinds of blooms in her greenhouse, and sells them in her flower shop so everyone else can enjoy them, too! When ponies come to her shop to buy yummy treats, MEADOWBROOK puts a pretty flower into their baskets! She can't decide which kind of flower is her favorite, because she loves them all!

  • Accessory list can be seen on MLW and the G3 Wiki

  • The greenhouse is removable

  • When I first saw this, labelled as MLP, I thought it was a mistake! At first glance it really doesn't look like a MLP play set to me! It's very cute though! Honestly, probably one of my favorite sets! I think MLP should have done more of these cute house-shaped sets.
